Psalms 15 Who may dwell in God's tent? Fiber Fun, Literary Living, Finding Joy from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

 Hello There,

Thank you for stopping in today!  It has been a week - thank God it's a new week on Sunday!  I was able to spend an afternoon with my oldest grandchildren.  The following day my granddaughter came over for the afternoon.  We made Jalapeño Poppers.  She actually taught me now to make them!  They were delicious!

During my regular Friday night call with my friend, I managed to misplace my phone while using earphones—and then the battery completely died, so I couldn't even ping it! It was still missing by Saturday morning.  On a ...

Psalm 14:6-7 Don't You Love This Word: Refuge? Fiber Fun, Literally Living, Finding Joy from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

 Hello There,

Thank you for stopping in!  This week you'll find a continuation of our study on the Psalms and I'll share progress on some fun projects I'm working on.

I'm loving the progress I'm making on my 3/4" hexie project, which is featured below.  It's amazing what we can accomplish by setting a goal of sewing for 15 minutes a night on one single project.

I do hope you enjoy your visit here today!

Take good care and, as Daddy used to say,
"Make memories; it's later than you think."

Psalm 14:5 God Help the Fools, Fiber Fun, Literary Living, Finding Joy from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

Hello There,

This has been a beautiful week - despite the challenges facing my loved ones.  We got two days with my grandbabies - ages ten years to sixteen years.  My granddaughter and I shopped, laughed, giggled, sang to songs on KLove  and even purchased these micro containers of Vaseline for her friends as they return to school!  They will certainly help deal with chapped lips.

We enjoyed Taco Salad, Pizza, fudge, banana splits and even played two games of Life!  Do you remember playing Life?

Take good care and, as Daddy used to say,
"Make memories; it's later than you ...

Psalm 14:2, Fiber Fun, Literary Life: Liar's Dice, Finding Joy in Journaling from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

 Hello There!
Thank you for stopping in for a visit! I skipped posting last week—life happens, right?—but I ended up accomplishing twice as much on my goals - for the blog and behind the scenes.  The rain here has been beautiful, leaving our desert plants looking fresh.  My husband and son were away on an overnight trip, and while I enjoyed a quiet morning for studying and writing, the house felt a bit too lonely without them. I was so glad when they returned!

Take good care and, as Daddy used to say,
"Make memories; it's later than ...

Psalm 14:3-5: God is in Our Company, Fiber Fun with Hexagons, Literary Life, Finding Joy from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

 Hello There,

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. Today, I’m looking back at where my blog began by linking to my [first] and [second] posts. These archives begin the documentation of my breast cancer journey—a time that was incredibly difficult, yet the biggest blessing of my life.

My daughter gave each year of our three-year journey a name:  2015 "The Year of the Fight", 2015 "The Year of Recovery," and 2017 "The Year of the Comeback.  It was during my 'recovery year' in 2016 that I felt the call to write devotionals. Even though sharing my ...
